So my parents and brother left for the US a few weeks ago. My sister and I are to follow in less than three months time. In the mean time, my aunt is staying with us to basically take care of us. I've shed some tears because we're leaving soon. Mostly, because of my grandmother. But I know I'll visit soon and often after everything there is settled. I feel like I've been a lot more busy than I have been before my parents and brother left. Probably because there are many things now that are left in my responsibility. I've also been busy with looking for schools so I can take short courses that I can apply (hopefully) what I learn once I'm in the U.S. Honestly, learning make-up is the only thing I am interested in, but my mother told me to take hair cutting and hair coloring classes as well. It took a while of searching but I finally found a school that's near, inexpensive and short. I'll be enrolling soon.
In a few days, I'll be going to my first ever make-up workshop and I've been thinking about it ever since I availed of it. I'm so so so so excited to learn more about make-up. Right after that, my sister and I will go to Cavite to stay with my aunts, uncle, cousins and grandma for the Holy Week. I'll also be practicing and hopefully, getting my driver's license there, as well as do some shopping for clothes we will need for the cold climate. I really hope I pass the driver's exam so that by the time my sister's graduation and her grad ball comes around, I can drive her there and back.
I need to prepare my resume soon. Though to be honest, I don't have much to add from my previous one. I've also started selling some of my things so I can have less to have shipped to me in the future. It's quite stressful to sell though. I thought it would be easy as I have experienced buying things myself, of course. I'm not one to demand or ask things to anyone especially if it has been stated how they conduct things. However, I can't really be picky. I need to sell my things fast, so even though my first buyer asked to do some things differently, and ones that I had no prior experience in, I had to cave in. It did, in a way, open more doors to me. Having that additional option for my potential buyers made it easier to sell and negotiate. It's a lot of work. And these past few weeks, I've gone out more than I think I ever had in the previous months. I do find it quite fascinating to sell online. I quite like it.
